North Yorkshire for Europe, formed in April 2018 in response to growing public disquiet over the Government’s Brexit plans, is run entirely by volunteers.

We have organised street stalls in town towns and cities across the region, letter writing workshops, a public debate in Harrogate and coaches to anti-Brexit demonstrations in London. We are not party political: We welcome new supporters from every political party – or those with no political allegiance. What we have in common is a passionate belief that our future lies at the heart of the EU!

At the last count North Yorkshire for Europe had more than 600 supporters and we recently started asking those interested to formally join as members for a membership fee of £2 (with all funds raised put towards campaigning).

North Yorkshire for Europe is part what is possibly the fastest-growing political movement in this country. We are a member of the newly-formed Yorkshire for Europe alliance, which incorporates ten pro EU groups in the Yorkshire & the Humber region,  and Grassroots for Europe, a network of more than 170 groups across the UK and on the Continent.
